Berlins Jeans Team release an anthemic laid back slab of indie funk. Stappled to a repetitive bassline and a low thudding four four; hooky, credible and genre dodging!
The My Robot Friend remix makes full use of the tracks innate funk, whilst working it through a thoroughly android work out. Faithful to the original version it builds from stripped back bass line to arms in the air full on sensory explosion and then peels back to solid dance floor bleep madness.Brilliant.
Finally Flash Atkinsturns in a glorious downbeat version that should be rocking Sunday afternoons for some time….. 4.5 out of 5

We’ve heard little from these Berliners since ‘Keine Melodien’ way back when electroclash ruled the earth. So it’s with open ears we welcome them back. Built around a rhythmic bassline and the Team purring ‘Ohh yeah’ throughout as ethereal synths cascade along with them, ‘Nonstop…’ is not unlike James Murphy getting The Beach Boys hooked up on some really mellow smack. My Robot Friend’s inspired rework, heavy on the dub and trumpets will have Zongamin kicking himself for not thinking of it first.
